Default Infrared motion detectors: cheap and effective

If you have concerns about home s3curity, may I suggest the use of battery-powered infrared motion detectors. I put one in the far corner of every room that has a door or window and sleep very soundly knowing that no one is going to surprise me in the night. If placed in a corner, they cannot be disarmed without setting them off and they scream like a banshee once triggered. One for each room and a solar battery charger and you are all set. I keep an additional set for my garden as they have proven to be a very effective control for night-roaming raccoons, etc. I suggest the use of NiMH batteries as they seem to last forever.

I had one in the old shop. Man it was loud!
