As it's getting to the "peak" of the colors here, i thought i'd go get a few more picts before all the leaves come down,

Most of the farmers around here chop their corn, but this farmer will be combineing his corn field,

I thought i'd drive over to a one lane wooden bridge that goes over the railroad tracks, that's not far from here. I really like this bridge, and i have fond memories of going over it on my Cushman scooter when i was a kid,

It sure was pretty along the tracks,

This little guy had to come out and watch me!

The maples here, sure are pretty right now too!

Those are beautiful! Lots of wind mixed with rain tore many of the leaves off last weekend but it's still breath taking on my drive to work every morning. I love this time of year.

Thank you for the beautiful pictures!

Thanks all for posting the gorgeous photos - DM, that one of the rail road bridge is extra EXTRA outstanding! Makes me want to walk those tracks and see what's around the bend!

Don't you love the smell in the air this time of year? Those ripened leaves are a sweet perfume!

And people wonder why I like fall and am hard to find during this time. A look at all the picture and does a person have to ask why. Its such a short time and a person can't let that window of opportunity go by. Sad to say our color was cut short this yr by heavy rains and wind. But its just has me waiting all the more for next year.
