I have a flock of laying hens, some little goats, a small garden & am constantly trying to learn off grid skills. Thank you for your book, it was inspiring.
Thank you for your kind words----10 acres is a great start-----I found I learned by doing---not always with great results----its a new learning experience every day.

I am on grid now--and I find some of the old ways I learned come back to me all the time
when I need to solve a problem----you will be ok---My new thoughts are how do you eat an elephant?? One bite at a time----Good luck.

I can't believe I was fortunate enough to watch this story unfold on BWH.

One reviewer put it this way:

"I started reading this and ended up going to bed at 4am. I couldn't put it down. This woman is my hero!!"

She sums it up!

I will forever be thankful for your story. It would be cool if you'd read it out loud so we could listen to it. hint hint.
I my friend----I amazed at how folks have excepted the book----and publisher and I are hoping someone will make a movie out of it----it would be real life---not this syntheic crap you see--with every hair in place and the clothes are alwways clean---you know what I mean.?

A Tom Clancy or Claire Wolf I am not----but I loved the life----it loved me back.

Thank you for your kind words.

Annie

Default Book

I am still amazed at the interest in the book----I speak almost everyday
with folks that have read it----blows me away.

I sit and think about those days off grid---and find joy in that adventure--great peace.
I could step back into it in a heart beat--more slowly (haha) of course.

Thank you
Annie

I am reading your book right now. I am loving it! I admire you so much and you have given me courage to try new things. Our room that used to be a porch, the workers did not put a new ceiling in so birds get in the ceiling and stuff falls down through the cracks all the time. I am going to try stapling the plastic over it like you did. Do you miss being off-grid?

I ordered two of your books and picked them up today. I gave one to my mother-in-law and will see what she has to say. I finished mine today and gave it to my wife. You are one tough lady and I can say I found someone that has gone thru a harder life then we have. Loved the book and admire your way of never giving up when most would have.

Thank you---Do I miss it---indeed--thats where my soul will always long for.
I was lucky enough to find that ((place)) I loved.

Yes I used plastic and a T-50 stapler---it was a nerve saver---critters following in my bed wasnt my idea of resting lol.

Let me say this---tough?? yes!! But I learned a peace and found Myself.
I thought I was lost---until I did the one thing that made me happy.
I dont advise folks going off blindly but if you do--Saddle Up--Trouble Rides a Fast Horse.

Again--humbly--Thank you ands o happy you enjoyed my book.

Default Txanne

I bought the book and had it read in less than two weeks. I couldn't put it down.

And yes, trouble does ride a fast horse, and it has different riders...

Can't tell you how much I enjoyed your book Annie! I couldn't put it down. Just goes to show that you can do whatever you need to if you put your mind to it.

Thanks so much for sharing your story with us. I hope you got as much out of writing it as we did out of reading it!

God Bless,
Sue

Waiting with baited breath! Let us know when it's ready to order.

And I'm sorry for all you're going through. Even with her last breath your dil will be your test.

God Bless
Sue
