If you judge people, you have no time to love them.

if any of you are on facebook and would like to see some amusing "common man" quotes, look for the page "[stuff] my dad says" (I've changed the expletive, I'm sure you can guess it. (not for the language sensitive though)

Here are a couple examples...

"I didn't say you were ugly. I said your girlfriend is better looking than you, and standing next to her, you look ugly."

"I lost 20 pounds...How? I drank bear piss and took up fencing. How the [expletive] you think, son? I exercised."

We have two ends with a common link. With one we sit with one we think. Success depends on which we use. Heads we win tails we lose.

I do not believe there is a problem in this country or the world today which could not be settled if approached through the teaching of the Sermon on the Mount.

The thing that impresses me the most about America is the way parents obey their children.

King Edward VIII

Unfortunately this seems to be true in many homes. The kid runs the home with their family dancing to their whims.

Default found this on the web....

Strangely enough, those who have survived hardships look back with fond memories to the awful period of pain and destruction because they recall the closeness that developed as they united themselves to survive by sharing whatever they had.

Ensign June 1982

Doesn't this describe the elderly who talk about the depression? They remember the hard times fondly, but with wariness, talking about how they "made do".
