Thanks..
It has 2 doors on the back side so I can get to the nest boxes without going inside to collect eggs.. If I get any.. LOL. I made 2 removable panels below the nest box doors so I can clean it out from the outside.
I had some old fiberglass roofing material that I used to cover the front on both sides of the door and the roof. It worked out pretty nice.! I'm jealous.. They have a skylite and I don't!

Looks great 12, glad to see the chicks have a nice place of their own now. And with the design of being able to clean it from the outside, that will make it so nice. One of ours can be cleaned from outside, well the others, ya gotta wade in and shovel.
Have a great day!

Good looking coop. The considerations for clean-out are important.

Thanks, Ya'll..
I had no clue or plan to work from. I just used information that I've read about and my imagination. Thank Mr. Sun for allowing me to use my saw and drill..

hmmm... for some reason, I can't see your pics. I am always interested in coop design because it takes a while to get just the design that you want/need.

Naa.. I'm not an avid hunter but I'll clean up the yard now and then..
Kimbolton is around an hour south of me. It's in Guernsey County. I'm in the northern part of the county near Stark and Carroll. Gnadenhutten isn't too far away.

The Cheekin' Shat-Toe..Hysterical! (I always think I smell slightly of chicken "shat" although hubby assures me that ain't so.)
Rhode Island Reds? Are they still pretty young or did you dub them? I made the mistake of going with a Single Comb. The rooster got frost bite so bad last winter I thought his comb would surely fall off. It didn't but man did he suffer for a while. I use a sweeter heater now and they stay frost free.
If those are Reds, save some room in your freezer. You're gonna need it for all the extra eggs. My girls laid an egg each almost every day except during the molt and really, really cold days. Oh yeah, and when I gave them apples.

Great job!
Soon I will have to build a pen for some ducks that we got. They are starting to outgrow their rubbermaid tote home. ;-)
