Default Pokeberry Patch Etsy Shop

I started selling this week on my Etsy shop. I opened the shop a year ago but never had the time to do it. Now that I'm at the cabin most of the time and empty nesting there's time for writing and for art.
I started making toys for my grand babies and gifts for family members and out of that came some things to sell too.

Stop by my shop sometime!

Hope y'all let me know what you think, share ideas/ tips/advice--I know folks here are great about that.

Default thank you!

I really like the wolf too, funny, I think its my fav. I've made 3 more--I'm thinking of pairing one with red riding hood maybe and one with 3 pigs--in little story play sets.

Dunno--hard to decide cuz I think I need to keep prices low right now as a starter and because of the economy.

Makes me a little sad looking at how many wonderful handmade in America things there are on Etsy and people buy plastic mass produced junk from China.

I guess I best stay off that topic or I'll end up in the political threads. LOL.

I think you should make play sets, that is a great idea! If you made a fox or a bull terrier I might have to buy it even though I don't have kids lol...

Your toys are really cute, Mary! And welcome to Etsy. We've had a shop there selling wooden toys for almost two years now, and we've had a great time with it. (Our shop is called TheWoodGarden in case you want to check it out.) I see you've already made 3 sales--looks like you're off to a good start!

Etsy is a wonderful place to connect with customers all over the world who are interested in buying quality handmade things. You're right, most people still buy the Chinese junk, but there are also plenty of people out there who don't want to do that.

It doesn't look to me like you need much advice--the only thing I can think of is that it would be a good idea to fill in your shop's policies page, with stuff like your policies on returns, shipping times, etc. It just looks more professional.

Good luck with your shop!

I love your shop Mary. I just added you to my favorites shops on Etsy. I just started selling on etsy about the same time you did. Looks like you are having good luck!
My favorite is the chicken!
