Default SE Penn Checking In...

Southeast PA here.

Just bought a house on 4 acres, and while, I'm not exactly off the grid, or going there, I plan to make much more use of the land than has been done.

A few projects I have in mind...

-A micro-hydro setup, as a I have a nice stream (with waterfall) on my property.

-A pole barn to upgrade, partially into some rustic living quarters/ art studio

-Add a chicken coop, and possibly some sheep for meat

-A nice garden in the spring

-Deer population control

I am sure BHM has some good ideas on all of these plans...

welcome and you'll learn an incredible amount by reading back threads.

Where in SE Penn, if I may ask? I was raised in Central Pa -- Altoona -- so always curious.
