Default new NW Mississippi member

saying hello, been a long time reader and wanted to be able to participate.

we raise dairy goats, turkeys and chickens for eggs and meat, garden and have been homesteading for a while now working towards being able to provide for most of our needs.
Look forward to joining in, sharing some experiences and learning more.
thanks!
Ellie Mae

Agreed!! We are getting a "cold front" but the temp will be staying at about 98 for a high. Hopefully, at least the humidity will go down. We didn't get but a sprinkle from all the rain around. How about you?

With my luck it will decide to rain when I am at the farmers market.

we haven't gotten any rain since the last storm, supposed to be a 60% chance today, so went ahead and watered.
Watering the garden is like washing the truck, it will rain for sure, lol

scrubbielady, do you sell or shop at the farmers market?
We kick around the idea to sell our excess, but with milking it makes getting out of here early enough to set up a real challenge.

I am now at two farmer's markets. Send me a PM of what area you are in and I'll let you know which ones I know of and what I know about them. There are quite a few, large, small, new and old.
