Default WHAT WOULD YOU DO IF ....

Money were no object?

To my self sufficient friends...and those trying to be...

*******************************

I have always had a passion for building facilites, bridges, buildings, hospitals, piers... all my life for construction; for bringing together an idea, seeing it turn into a design, watching it be started out of the ground, seeing people move in and use the facility that was the end result, rejoicing in a great accomplishment

Being a Civil Engineer in the Construction industry allowed me to be paid (sometimes very well paid) doing something I LOVED doing ALL my life ...

But alas, I am one of the lucky ones...

I have always told my children to FIND something that you love doing, then figure out a way to get well paid for doing that..

LIFE is wonderful if you love what you do... life sucks if you hate what you do but keep on doing it to live - that is, to continue to do what you hate doing...

This video says all that - but much better... take a few minutes and watch the movie...

Take in all the teens everyone throws away, and teach them a better way.

Travel all of these beautiful States we call America.
Seeing things I have read about.
Eatting in places
And maybe just maybe---buy land on the Snake River in Idaho---one of the most beautiful places.
No I Would buy it--then raft her---and walk in the snow---and live every minute of it.

And bequest to animal shelters enough money to care for abused animals and those tossed aside to starve and die.

Then I have all those kiddos Laura takes in come get them an animal- critter of their own
to love and heal as she would love and heal them.

Me 2!

Just once I'd like to make that twice monthly trip to town for groceries and not see my wife get teared up over seeing some poor scared dog dumped on the side of the road. When we can we take them to a no-kill shelter where maybe they have a chance. There is only so much one can do because we cannot take them all in ourselves. If money were no object, my wife would have a really swell animal sanctuary to care for them herself.

Pay off the national dept with a few conditions, We would have a constitutional president and there would be term limits on the justices, no lifetime appointment.,and any law passed would apply to congress, no if ands and buts. And no property taxes. Now here is my question. If I told the president I would pay off the national dept , would he step down for the good of the people?
