Default Proper Recycling 101..

A friend of mine was gonna trash a 70's Console Stereo and asked me if I wanted it. I looked in the back of it and saw these beautiful speakers! Biggin's Too!

Problem "was" the thing was too big to put in my car. Creativity and a chain saw makes for good size management..

Brought 'um home and hooked 'um up. Super Tweets gave 'um a little "sparkle". Gonna build some new boxes for 'um..

LOL.. 2 watts/channel ain't gonna make much of anything shake..

This what the Super Sonic thingie is. (The other thing is a Sony Walkman) Removed the whimpy little speakers, ran some wire out of the case so I could connect to some real speakers.. (Runs on 4 - "AAA" batteries) Sounds amazingly good..

I was able to do something similar with some very large speakers,(about eight inches across the magnet part) I hooked them up to an old lawnmower handle and drag them to pick up any nails in the drive way, shop , burn piles. They have saved me hundreds of dollars from flat tires.

These are old school speakers. They don't have much of a magnet but they sure sound good..

Back then, they didn't have megawatt amps so they needed to make a sensitive speaker that could handle 2-3 watts and still make a bunch of noise. Perfect for my application..

I have a big 'ol subwoofer speaker magnet that I keep around. Works well under the hood of the car. Stick it to the underside of the hood and hang wrenches and screwdrivers on it so ya don't have to look for 'um. Holds most bolts/screws too..
