Default autumn olive

Can't remember where I read about them, but they are supposed to grow wild and are really good. Supposedly growing in Ky, but I sure have never seen them. Does anyone have experience with them? I am debating if I should get them started, they supposedly spread.

I planted the commercial variety, trebizon date. It's been in the ground for 2 years now without any fruit. Deer like to browse it, so it will need protection. Mine is not spreading at all!
