Default Dr. James Duke's Plant Database

http://www.ars-grin.gov/duke/

I posted this in Health and it probably should have been posted here to begin with. Dr. Duke is the author of The Green Pharmacy and other books. He's done extensive research on the medicinal qualities of plants and this is a searchable database. You can search by plant, chemical or activity.

Yes it it! The database is fascinating. I could read for hours if I had time. There is so much to learn.

Wildturnip -
That is a bookmark site for sure!

It's a miracle and a wonder to me that two plants can grow side by side, each one a perfect little chemical factory, with completely different chemicals created, and most often, with no impact on the environment.

There's so much we're just beginning to understand!
