Default Losing my next grandchild

I'm asking for prayers for my daughter and her family. They found out today during a visit to a specialist that the child she is carrying will pass away either just before or just after it's birth.

Sorry to hear of there loss...
Loss of a child is bad enough...
It has to be excruciating to have to wait, knowing this is coming...

I'm sorry for your loss. I lost granddaughter when she was eleven. The pain in yourheart will ease. Now the place she holds in my heart are the great memories I was able to make. I am truly sorry.

The only comfort is knowing that little girl will be waiting in heaven when her folks arrive and won't have to suffer through this life. My condolences to the parents.

We have no way of knowing if it was to be a boy or a girl, even the specialist had no way of knowing. DD said he is obviously very experienced, and he told them he's only seen this defect six times in his career. I don't know if their case is number six or will be number seven but he did say that there is a 0% chance of survival and it's a very rare birth defect. All I can do is be available whenever they need me, her next appointment is Wednesday so I'm wondering if they're not going to have her come in weekly. Thank you folks for praying.

Will pray, and my heart goes out to all. We've been there. We had a child that was "incompatible for life". We didn't know ahead of time, though Mrs. always said she "knew" something was wrong. She was born in our local small town hospital and then flown to big city and put on life support. We were told her chance of survival was zilch, that most children with this rare condition "spontaneously abort" and those few born live will certainly die in the first month.

When she was in the hospital and we were waiting for her to die, the town busy body called me and said, "I'm praying she lives long enough for you all to love and all to hold." It struck me as odd, but that's what we got . We brought her home and had her home 17 days before she passed. We know where she is. We don't get that guarantee with our grown kids.

We then were told our next child would be the same. We wondered how could this happen again? We were distraught but even more so when a specialist viewing the results of the test told our little country doctor to tell us to get into the city to terminate the pregnancy so we wouldn't have to go through that hell again. He informed her for us that's no an option, life and death are both in God's hands.

To make a long story short, the child was born, this child that some would say should have been aborted. She's perfectly healthy and normal. She's very musically gifted and such a sweet girl. She's now 14 so we also came to realize God is in control, not the doctors. They're often wrong, but how often do they kill their mistakes?

Default Praying for a Miracle .

I am praying for Gods intervention and a healthy normal baby just as our Father designed it . I ran over my Great Grand Daughter Abigail two weeks after her 5th birthday with a 5000 pound tractor . Squashed her flat . The trauma center at Children's in Columbus told us not to expect her to survive the night . She is now 22 years old with a beautiful baby of her own. God delights in doing the impossible . Please agree with me in prayer for the life of this little one . Never forget . " Faith worketh by love".

At her appointment, Thursday not Wednesday as I thought, she was told that she will continue to be seen by the midwives as though this is a normal pregnancy. She goes back in late June.

They are meeting with the associate rector of the church she's a member of this coming week to discuss funeral plans. She's handling this better than I would have, that I know for sure.

To top off the problem pregnancy they now have to move by July 7. The four-pled they live in was sold and the woman who now owns it wants them out yesterday. She has suggested the move into the local homeless shelter so she can start remodeling the apartment early. The one nice thing is that someone has set up an online fundraiser for them and it will run another 143 days.

The landlord has to give renters adequate notice: that is the law.

I do not know how long the law says they have to be given, but 30 days notice is fairly standard practice as most places ask for the last month's rent up front. If that means the landlord cannot remodel early that is the landlords problem.
