Default Log Skid Rig...

A lot has been said at times on the small tractor forums about what/how to skid logs... Some people have spent a ton of $ on 3pt skidding plates, with or without winches etc.... And they may be useful in a lot of locations and situations...

This is my quick, dirty method... With reasonably flat ground to work on, and no more often than I need it, this has worked well... The orange lift arm being a quick, dirty, cheap accessory to the receiver hitch adapter....

One note of caution I will stress.... ONLY lift with the 3pt.... And pull with the fixed draw bar... You will NOT enjoy doing wheelies with a tractor... Trust me on that...

Keep safe..
Always fresh.

Now that's impressive!

And I'm glad to hear you say about not pulling with the 3-point hitch.
It is what it is
