Default I won three books!

Earlier today I got a private message on Facebook from a new author, Joanna Shupe, telling me that I won a copy of her first three books in a cover reveal contest. I now have something to look forward to this coming Spring when she will send me a signed copy of each of the books. She's the second historical author whose career I've been able to get in on the ground floor of, so to speak. This is my favorite kind of book, FREE, and historical to boot. The other author I mentioned is Grace Burrowes who also writes historical stories.

Congrats....
I also like things that use a historical time line of real events in the story..
Especially western history from the part of the country where I grew up...

Post reviews of the books...
Enjoy...

These aren't due out until next year so it will be awhile before I get them, much less get them read. Lol

I found out today I've won more books. I got an email from the lady that runs Soul Inspirationz, a group on Facebook, telling me I had one a book in their September give away. I immediately replied to her message with the list of books in the order I prefer and I told her that I had left one out because I already have a copy of it. I'm also getting a PDF copy of a book from an author whose contest I entered. And last, but not least, I won a "collection of French themed books" from Sourcebooks by participating in a talk they held with the author Amy Thomas. I don't know how many books the collection will contain but I'll be happy to receive them.

I'm setting up an actual "To be read" shelf so I can keep them in the order I receive them.

I'm still waiting on the PDF copy of the book I won, so far I haven't received it even though I' promptly answered all her messages to me. At this point I no longer expect it. I'll give the others two weeks before I contact them about the books I'm supposed to receive.

I won another book and have messaged the author on Facebook and have heard back from her so I expect it by the end of the week as she said it's sometimes not all that more costly to send it via priority rather than media mail.

I'll contact Sourcebooks at the end of the week if I haven't heard anything further about the books I won from them.

This is why I continue to follow many authors on Facebook, I love free books.

As TXAnne said, I'll have plenty of cold weather reading material.
