Well blackpowder deer hunting hasn't been worth much so far. The weather has been way too warm and if the deer are moving it's usually at night when it's cooler. Five times out hunting this month and only seen deer one time. From what I'm hearing up and down the river, it's pretty much the same for everyone.

Just finishing up around 36 hours of rain, sure glad it wasn't snow. With that much rain the mud will be tough for even 4 wheelers to get to the hunting spot. But cooler weather is on the way and by the middle of the week we should see temps below freezing. That should get the deer to move, and freeze the mud to make it easier to get around.
