Default BWH-----DON CHILDERS

Just got my news letter as many have and was thrilled to read Don Childers(83y/o) has painted/designed the Nov/Dec. cover of Backwoodshome.

He was the reason I bought my first copy of BWH lo so many years ago.
He is an inspiration to many because of his art work.

I wish him the very best and Thanks for un-retiring and painting one more time for us.

Sincerely
Txanne

I was worried when I read the title of this thread! Very glad to hear that Don will do the winter cover!

I guess I have to find where to sign up for this newsletter.

Is this the artist that has done most of the covers over the years? If so, I was wondering if there was a book of all his work for the magazine covers. Thought that would be pretty neat!

Yes, Don has painted most of BHM's covers. And that is an interesting idea about a book of covers. I'll mention it to Dave.

Default Blank Note cards or Xmas Cards?

Don's art work would be terrific as note cards or Christmas cards!

I think that's a great idea! It would be a nice card, plus having the BHM brand on the back would spread the word to potential subscribers.
