Twenty five pounds of corn wa harvested by my small about 8 by 10 foot patch. the squirrels damaged and ate more than half the crop. The kernels will be removed from the cobs when fully dry and made into flour for making tortillas.

So tell me, did you use it that way? the Hochunk people where I live, parboil it fresh from the field and then dry it. I left mine on the stalk in 2013 and then wondered if I could still use it. What ended up happening? Inquiring minds want to know! So far I treat it like seed and share it with friends and birds. Did you grind and use it?
