Default Model Planes

I didn't know where to put this question...

Anyone here fly model planes?

Hubby likes to make planes from kits and some we've flown.

I really enjoy the air shows here in Chicago in summer and sure would miss them if we moved.

When I was flying..... I used to fly string flyers... At that time $6-7 plastic string flyer kits from K-Mart and such... We had a lot of fun with them...

Thought about doing RC kits, but never got around to doing that... As at that time, they were quite expensive compared to now.. At least the entry level stuff...

VERY much enjoy a good small town air show... Precision aerobatics and especially most "in the box" moves are lost on most crowds of people...

Enjoy....
