Default Hello from ontario

Hey everyone. I am here to learn and to share information with everyone. I am interested in modern homesteading/ small scale farming. I am also quite keen on being prepared for everything. Not a bug out bag hoard canned goods and water type, more of a "I have every tool and skill to figure out every situation that arises" kind of person. Last August we finally moved to the family farm with our six kids. We currently raise sheep, pigs and chickens. In the summer we do market gardening and do a lot of canning. In my past life I was a licenced mechanic and currently I am a pretty good carpenter and jack of all trades. It is very nice to meet everyone

Welcome from northeast Washington. I wish I had your skill set. Every time I go into a hardware store, I'm drawn to the tools. We have some of the other things you mentioned, but tools and skills will take some time to acquire.
