I tend to forget turkey season, being the spring hunting season, but it opens here in TWELVE days!

While traveling a secondary road, taking some things to a friend, late Wednesday [4/15] afternoon I had a turkey run across the road ahead of me. That in and of itself is not totally unusual, but seeing them during the open season is. They're usually as scarce as hens teeth during the season.

Well, still a few more days to hunt before the season closes on the 26th, in area A where I hunt.
