Default Brazing question

I have stanley plane that has a crack in it. Plane is an old staley No7 jointer .
Is it possible to braze the crack using a propane torch if I preheat the plane to a couple hundred degrees or do I have to have oxygen to get the heat needed?
work like you don't need the money- love like you never been hurt and dance like no one is watching !!
