Default Sparrows and a Falcon

A falcon ruled over a patch of wood and field. From time to time it would eat a sparrow, and they were all afraid of it. So the sparrows got together and devised a way to stop the falcon from eating them. They flew en masse and alighted on a tree near the falcon's telephone pole. They said to it "We are tired of you eating us one by one. We respectfully ask that you stop."

"No" answered the falcon. He flexed his clawed foot, showing off his razor sharp talons.

The sparrows scattered and the falcon called after them "One who is unarmed can make requests, but one who is armed speaks with authority."

Wise counsel for anyone who believes that the citizenry of this nation should EVER consider surrendering our 2nd Amendment rights.
