Tried a smart phone once. Actually the only cell phone I ever bought was my first one. After that I just kept getting my kid's hand me downs as they got new ones, and at one point it was a smart phone.

My provider had a $9.99 a month deal that you could cancel any time so I thought I'd give it a try. After two months I realized I only used the internet a couple times a month, mainly because at my age the screen was too small to see anything, so I cancelled the $9.99 option.

Then the next month I got this huge bill. Seems my phone kept trying to connect to the internet and it was running up my minutes charge. They put a block on my phone to stop it, but the next month there is was again. I told them their smart phone wasn't so smart after all. They then put a second block on the phone and the extra charges finally stopped.

As for data usage, my daughter and her husband were always going over with their plan. They ended up getting an internet package through the regular phone company for their home. That package was cheaper then the over data usage charge from the cell phone company.

Default Smart talk

I've been using smart talk for over a year and it has saved me over a 1000.00 from the old veri$on plan.
The wife uses a internet connection it is $15.00 month.

I am looking at dropping the higher plan for a limited streaming one. Just some use all the features as much .
