Default Chaga

Hello everyone! I received a pound of Chaga and interested in finding out different ways to prepare and store it. Has anyone here used it and has it worked for you? Thank you for the input!

I had to look it up as I had never heard of it. So it is a mushroom. It does not grow here.
Curious what kind of replies you will receive.

I'll be following. Last year we had two large Reishi in or yard, this year we have about ten. I put them in compost pile last year, but they are hard to break up, took about six months for them to break down.
I find it difficult to get mushrooms ID'd.
The picture is the biggest Reishi in our yard it's about 6".
