Default Todays Barter Was....

I made a couple trips to the city (75 miles) for things I had to do..
Got to the big by comparison farmers market there..

Ended up trading about 150 egg cartons and about 40 recycled jars (pickle and other jars w/1/4 turn lids) to the Mennonite lady who sells eggs there...

I got 7 dozen eggs for the whole mess.. Made room in my garage, and a big slow cooker of fried, crumbled sausage, and seasoned scrambled eggs..
A dash of Sesame oil, spices, and let it cook on low over night... With whole wheat toast, and strong coffee..... Good grazing...

Anyone else with a barter to share ??
Always fresh.

I love to barter...the activity is almost fun enough where I don't care what I get. Have traded anything from guns, tools, and cars to food items. Our neighbor two miles to the south has a dog that always ends up our way and when I bring him back he usually gives me a couple dozen eggs so I guess that counts as barter...

Bartered for a set of new wooden steps for use of my old riding mower----my old ones fell through with me and i patched them up---neighbor said hewas afraid i'd break my neck--but that was just his way of bartening for the use of mower--but by the same token her works on her if she gets sickly--and as old as she is--she does. lol

I regularly barter with neighbors for fruits and veggies we don't grow with those that we do or for eggs. I also barter eggs for venison with my brother. Various townships around here pay him to thin the herds during hunting season so he only pays for the butchering and I always have plenty of eggs and he eats a few dozen each week as he is a body builder.

I also barter eggs for a chiropractic adjustment. Works for us!
