Default rocks in laundry soap

I make my own laundry soap with fels nappa, washing soda and 20 mule boxax. Towards the bottom of the bucket there is always little white rocks. I have strained it before pouring into bucket before adding water and there is no rocks then. It is after it cools it seems. Any have this problem. Where do they come from??

Sounds like a precipitate potentially relating to a chemical reaction between the three ingredients.

Either that, or something dropping out of solution, because one ingredient is not being dissolved in the solution.

Are you using water to combine the ingredients into a solution?

If you are, I would suggest adding more water to dilute the solution, see if you are still getting those rocks.

Interesting!

also could be a reaction between your ingredients and something in your water. Water being the universal solvent can have small amounts of most anything, unless it is distilled.
