Put up all kinds. You can get large bags of food grade salt but a large bag will last you a very, very long time.

With food grade, I highly recommend buying iodized salt. I accidentally purchased table salt that wasn't iodized and - after a month - learned why iodine is added. In other words, yes, I got sick enough to exhibit symptoms of iodine deficiency.

Put up food grade salt that isn't iodized for canning.

Put up industrial grade salt for non-food uses.
