That sounds like fun! We sold our goats a couple years ago when I had an accident, but my wife still misses the kidding time. She doesn't really miss the milking (being tied down) and sitting in the barn a -40 F. waiting for the kids to be born, then bringing them into the house or garage to prevent them from being frozen. We had Nubians for 25 years.

we got lucky this year, the weather turned warm this week, last year it was 7 degrees when we had babies. It is a fun time though, spent more time in the barn this week than in the house! It will be nice to have goat milk again, I have missed it.
