Default Several Times

I have used Armslist several times to both buy and sell. Never had any issues.

It can be a PITA, though, because you may get a lot of emails to answer. I like it better than Gunbroker in many ways. It's like a classy, pervert free version of Craig's List.

And you have to be secure if you do a face-to-face sale.

I've heard some stories about people posting fake pictures to lure buyers and set up robberies.

I wouldn't assume it's any safer than any other internet advertising site.

That has happened. I chased a deal on a rifle once but soon realized it was a hoax of some type and reported it to the Armslist people. The advertisement was down within minutes of reporting it. I think they are really diligent in keeping scams and riff-raff off there.
