Default A campfire

A man was passing through a forest when it began to get dark. He felt the nights chill in his fingers and gathered a few bits of kindling from the trailside for a fire. When it was lit, he immediately found it too small, hardly larger than a candle. He needed some sticks. He walked around and gathered a few sticks to make it larger. It was almost out when he returned with the sticks, and it took a few minutes of blowing to get it going again. But the fire was no larger than when he started it the first time, so he went to get another stick. He spent his evening gathering one or two sticks at a time and didn't make a fire big enough to keep his hands warm.

Acting before its time to act ruins the execution.
And
Execution without enough supplies is a waste.

Applies to just about anything in life, if done improperly.

Guess that's the philosophy part.
