Default Bacon Bullion.....

Honest to God.... That is what it is said to be.

Going through a thousand things looking for meal in a jar recipes, I ran across something that said use "bacon bullion" I think it was with beans, lentils, or split peas... Don't remember which.

Anyway... Can't find it locally. It is on Amazon, but not crazy about sending away for it on the web..

I'm wondering if the small ham cubes we have dried, run through the coffee grinder. Or imitation bacon bits, processed the same would work?? Will have to work on that.

Anyone..... Know about ? Have seen ? Regularly use this kind of product ???
Need info...

No..... I have not got or found local bacon bouillon.
However.... I have found pork bouillon.
It has a kind of brown lard consistency and taste. Kind of salty as expected.

I plan to use it in a JAW (just add water) mix with home dehydrated (quick cook) beans. Home dried beans are another thread.

Still working on this recipe. Will elaborate later.
