I learned to play the spoons as a child, but I have never heard anybody get the sort of vibration she gets.

I tortured a pair of spoons for a while. Never got much further than beginners level play. It was fun.

Yes.. She has an exceptional sense of rhythm and much talent.

The guy playing the banjo, claw hammer style is quite good also. They do very little claw hammer here.

Blue grass here is somewhat like you would find many places. Mix in a bit of Nova Scotia and the Arcadian here is a bit different than you may be used to from Louisiana and area.

But still fun.

Everywhere we travel I always enjoy the street performers.

Here in Pot Hole City there are always a number of street performers during warmer weather. One young guy banjo player I ran across was one of few I have run across who could play claw hammer. He played, I tapped my pocket knife and ring on a metal lamp post a bit and we had a good time. He also did Irish sea shanty and Scott Celtic music. He was also one of the VERY few who knew "Whiskey Before Breakfast" Have not seen him for 2 summers now.

Next town down river had a young woman who played tenor (4 string) banjo in the town square. She played very well but wasn't there long as it was obvious the meth or what ever was taking a tole.

Yes. People are talented and interesting.
