ABOUT THE COVER
This issue’s cover is a painting by longtime BHM artist Don Childers. It depicts the article on page 56 by Jerry Hourigan titled A good use for old rocks, which describes the author’s small Kentucky farm and his efforts to remove and use productively hundreds of large Glacial-deposited rocks. The horse is pulling a rockboat sled loaded with the rocks. The author drives the slide, which he could maneuver over otherwise inaccessible terrain, while his grandson, Jackson, his helper for the difficult and long task, rides along.
