Jo’s Kentucky-fried cole slaw

Ingredients

1/2 medium-sized head cabbage
1 small carrot
1/2 bell pepper
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup vinegar
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 tsp. dry mustard
dash of salt
dash of black pepper

Method

Shred cabbage finely. Grate carrot and pepper finely. Place vegetables in large bowl. Put mayonnaise in small bowl. Stir in sugar, then gradually add vinegar while stirring. Add remaining ingredients to small bowl. Mix well. Stir dressing into vegetables. Cover and chill several hours before serving.
