Lard keeps for years this way, and I can see no reason suet wouldn&#8217;t also. &#8212; Jackie<\/p>\n<p><strong>Canning pecans<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>I finally got enough pecans to try canning them. When I cracked them I put them in the freezer. My question is should I do anything different than what your book states?
