Our first work day down at Oak Lake got the trusses on the garage addition. Since then, we got the OSB on the roof and then Bill sealed it with Tyvek to keep out the weather. Now that spring&#8217;s here, he wanted to get the metal roofing on.<\/p>\n<p>So with friends and family helping, we put in a good day&#8217;s work and got much of the roofing on. There isn&#8217;t much left to do, then he&#8217;ll just be down to the trim on the roof and finishing the board and batten siding. It&#8217;s turning out real nice and will be a lot of extra room for the family, including a play room for the kids upstairs.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.backwoodshome.com\/blogs\/JackieClay\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/06\/get-er-done.gif\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-2300\" title=\"get-er-done\" src=\"https:\/\/www.backwoodshome.com\/blogs\/JackieClay\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/06\/get-er-done.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"446\" height=\"360\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>We had a lot of fun and ate plenty of Kelly&#8217;s good food.
