I wouldn&#8217;t advise trying to can dry, grated cheese, but fresh Parmesan in block form should can up nicely. &#8212; Jackie<\/p>\n<p><strong>Amish coleslaw<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>A while back I saw your recipe for Amish canned coleslaw. I checked the archives to double check the recipe and found that it was listed twice: once calling for 2 cups each of vinegar and sugar and the other calls for 4 cups each. Which is correct? All other ingredients are the same.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Howard<\/em><br \/>\n<em>Valdez, Alaska<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Either will make great canned coleslaw. My original recipe calls for 2 cups each, but I&#8217;ve found that we like it with more juice so I upped the vinegar\/sugar to four cups.
