Of course, I said yes! They are Whiting True Blues, bred by Tom Whiting in Colorado for fly tying. They were originally a cross between White Leghorns and Americaunas. Although I was expecting blue chickens, I found out that they come in a variety of coloration. Ours are kind of a brownish, barred with cream. And, on the way, one of the three hens laid an egg. That was fun. As we grow so many different varieties, it&#8217;s important to keep them in order, especially in the garden, so we can <em>find <\/em>them to show people and harvest.
