Remember when they listed the slain Boston Marathon Bomber as a \u201cvictim of gun violence\u201d?<\/p>\n<p>Now comes more mendacity.\u00a0 Apparently, in a blurb railing against transfer of firearms by other than licensed dealers, they pirated watermarked pictures from a legitimate dealer in Vermont, who makes sure that all his sales go through FFL licensees with NICS checks. Kudos to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.guns.com\/2015\/01\/30\/gun-store-cries-foul-after-bloomberg-group-uses-their-images-in-online-sting\/.\" target=\"_blank\"><em>guns.com <\/em>for breaking the story<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>A press release issued on behalf of the defamed gun shop is <a href=\"http:\/\/cdn.bearingarms.com\/uploads\/2015\/01\/Crossfire-Arms-Press-Release.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Rachel Baird appears to be the gun shop\u2019s lawyer of record on this matter, and it looks as if Attorney Mitchell Lake, one of her associates, is also on the case on behalf of Crossfire Arms.\u00a0 Though I\u2019ve only spoken with Ms. Baird on the phone, she seems passionately interested in getting justice for the gun shop owner. I\u2019ve met Mr. Lake in person. Like any good lawyer, he knows the rules of the Court inside and out\u2026but, more important, he knows the issues in this case inside and out, and as a staunch advocate of Second Amendment Rights, he will demonstrate the very definition of \u201czealous advocacy.\u201d Mr. Bloomberg, of course, can afford to field whole covens of lawyers\u2026but none of them will be able to change the truth.<\/p>\n<p>Go get \u2018em, Mitch and Rachel.\u00a0 This is gonna be good.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>It\u2019s no secret that Michael Bloomberg\u2019s \u201cEverytown\u201d crusade against gun ownership has been known to bend the truth.
