Beto\nO\u2019Rourke\u2019s \u201cHell yes\u201d we\u2019ll-take-your-guns rant during the latest of the\nDemocrat presidential candidate debates has stiffened the backbone of the\npro-gun community. Good.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Perhaps more\ntelling than his own unrestrained and misdirected emotion is that none of the\nother Democrats on the podium disagreed with his falsely named \u201cbuyback\u201d\nproposal. The closest to disagreement was Amy Klobuchar, who said she\u2019d start\nwith voluntary \u201cbuyback.\u201d The Democrat\nNational Committee\u2019s official platform has long been against ownership of\nlegitimate firearms like the AR15 rifle. \nThe silence of the other candidates can be seen as assent to the\nmandatory confiscation O\u2019Rourke cries out for.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
They\u2019re out\nof their closet. Their \u201cwe don\u2019t want to take your guns\u201d BS is exposed for what\nit is. Confiscation has always been the goal of the anti-gunners\u2026and you can\nsure they won\u2019t be stopping with AR15s and double-stack magazines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Just as none\nof those candidates could say exactly how they\u2019d pay for Medicare for everyone,\nexpungement of college tuition debt, or slavery reparations for\nAfrican-Americans (except, of course, with massive tax increases), neither\nO\u2019Rourke nor his ilk are explaining how they\u2019re going to get criminals to \u201csell\nback\u201d their autoloading rifles. By\ndefinition, only the law-abiding will turn them in! (And of course, it will be more tax dollars\nto pay for them.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It\u2019s beyond stupidity and into madness. But, hey, maybe I\u2019m wrong. England banned autoloading rifles, and there aren\u2019t any murders there anymore<\/a>\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n
