Several men are in the locker room of a golf\nclub. A cellular phone on a bench rings and a man engages the hands-free\nspeaker function and begins to talk. Everyone else in the room stops to listen:<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n MAN: \u201cHello.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n WOMAN: \u201cHi, honey, it\u2019s me. Are you at the\nclub?\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n MAN: \u201cYes.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n WOMAN: \u201cI\u2019m at the shops now and found this\nbeautiful leather coat. It\u2019s only $2,000; is it okay if I buy it?\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n MAN: \u201cSure, go ahead if you like it that\nmuch.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n WOMAN:\u201dI also stopped by the Lexus dealership\nand saw the new models. I saw one I really liked.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n MAN: \u201cHow much?\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n WOMAN: \u201c$90,000.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n MAN: \u201cOkay, but for that price I want it with\nall the options.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n WOMAN: \u201cGreat! Oh, and one more thing… I was\njust talking to Jamie and found out that the house I wanted last year is back\non the market. They\u2019re asking $980,000 for it.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n MAN: \u201cWell, then go ahead and make an offer of\n$900,000. They\u2019ll probably take it. If not, we can go the extra eighty-thousand\nif it\u2019s what you really want.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n WOMAN: \u201cOkay. I\u2019ll see you later! I love you\nso much!\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n MAN: \u201cBye! I love you, too.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n The man hangs up.
