Jeff Cooper\ndedicated his classic book \u201cCooper on Handguns.\u201d&nbsp; I\u2019m happy to say he\u2019s still around, and still\ndispensing wisdom.&nbsp; Carl was one of the\nfounders of the movement called \u201cthe new pistolcraft\u201d that led to what is known\ntoday as \u201cthe modern technique of the pistol.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 His blog, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.eldencarl.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\">www.eldencarl.com<\/a>, has some fascinating first-person history.\u00a0 I hope to someday have a chance to sit at his feet and learn, as I did from some of his contemporaries, Col.
