{"id":6333,"date":"2020-07-01T09:00:00","date_gmt":"2020-07-01T13:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.backwoodshome.com\/blogs\/MassadAyoob\/?p=6333"},"modified":"2020-07-01T10:10:14","modified_gmt":"2020-07-01T14:10:14","slug":"about-those-lethal-lawn-lawyers","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.backwoodshome.com\/blogs\/MassadAyoob\/about-those-lethal-lawn-lawyers\/","title":{"rendered":"ABOUT THOSE LETHAL LAWN LAWYERS"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The gun\ndebate got a bit re-kindled a few days ago when a wealthy St. Louis couple\nstood on the lawn outside their expansive <em>palazzo\n<\/em>in St. Louis and told a bunch of protesters \u2013 somewhere between a hundred\nand five hundred of \u2018em; the estimates vary widely \u2013 to keep on going.&nbsp; One pundit immediately remarked, \u201cThe Roof\nKoreans have been joined by the Lawn Lawyers.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Both husband\nand wife are attorneys who appear to specialize in personal injury law. I can\nsee why they\u2019re rich enough to own that palatial mansion: the husband was smart\nenough to go on TV, explain his actions and hers, and get at least somewhat\nahead of the narrative.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The\nanti-gunners, of course, immediately called for their heads. The pro-gun side\nseemed to actually split: all agreed that their gun handling was egregious and\ntheir tactics could have been better. Some, however, said they were foolish to\ngo outside with an AR15 and a pistol and point t hem at folks, while others for\nthe most part took their side.
