{"id":6392,"date":"2020-08-15T09:00:00","date_gmt":"2020-08-15T13:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.backwoodshome.com\/blogs\/MassadAyoob\/?p=6392"},"modified":"2020-08-16T17:02:46","modified_gmt":"2020-08-16T21:02:46","slug":"a-battle-won-but-not-the-war","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.backwoodshome.com\/blogs\/MassadAyoob\/a-battle-won-but-not-the-war\/","title":{"rendered":"A BATTLE WON (BUT NOT THE WAR)"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Yesterday\nbrought news that the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals had ruled <em>against <\/em>magazine capacity limits.&nbsp; A definite win and a moral victory for our\nside, with verbiage that the gun owners\u2019 civil rights movement will be quoting\nfrom for a long time to come.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"Read it here (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/michellawyers.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/08\/2020-08-14-Opinion.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">Read it here<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Basically,\nthey supported the original decision of Judge Roger Benitez. When the\nCalifornia AG\u2019s office appealed, Judge Benitez put a stay on his order, and at\nthis writing to the best of my knowledge the stay has not been lifted.
