It wasn\u2019t long\nbefore each of the allegations in that apparently false narrative crumbled.\nFortunately, the sequence of events was captured on multiple smartphone\ncameras, for all the public to see.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Even some voices from the left have had to admit this.\u00a0 At the Chicago Tribune, Eric Zorn is probably the most anti-gun of their resident columnists.\u00a0 But even he <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"had this to sa (opens in a new tab)\" href=\"https:\/\/www.chicagotribune.com\/columns\/eric-zorn\/ct-column-rittenhouse-kenosha-self-defense-zorn-20200903-susvsg45yndn7pb67l42ywnzn4-story.html\" target=\"_blank\">had this to say<\/a> last week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mr. Zorn\nneeds to look closely at the photo which accompanies this blog entry. At the\ninstant of the shot that struck his last assailant, that man is pointing a\nGlock right at Kyle Rittenhouse\u2019s head.&nbsp;\nThe kid\u2019s just-in-time shot probably saved the downed boy from a bullet\nin the brain.&nbsp; By the way, the man with\nthe pistol was later quoted by one of his friends as saying his only regret was\nthat he didn\u2019t kill the teen, and \u201cempty the clip\u201d into him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And, there\nare legal analysts whose take is that the fine points of Wisconsin law were <em>not <\/em>violated by Kyle Rittenhouse\ncarrying an AR15 where and when he was.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is\ngoing to be a <em>very <\/em>interesting case\nto follow\u2026<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>When 17-year-old Kyle Rittenhouse shot three people in Kenosha, killing two, the left quickly came up with a narrative of an alt-right white teen racist who was illegally carrying an AR15 rifle he had illegally brought across state lines, who committed murderous crimes out of malicious bloodlust.
