{"id":7122,"date":"2022-01-20T09:00:00","date_gmt":"2022-01-20T14:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.backwoodshome.com\/blogs\/MassadAyoob\/?p=7122"},"modified":"2022-01-17T13:50:27","modified_gmt":"2022-01-17T18:50:27","slug":"kind-words-appreciated","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.backwoodshome.com\/blogs\/MassadAyoob\/kind-words-appreciated\/","title":{"rendered":"KIND WORDS APPRECIATED"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>David Blazek is a retired USAF U-2 pilot, and a helluva shot.&nbsp; When other shooters nicknamed him \u201cBlaze,\u201d it wasn\u2019t just a word-play on his name.&nbsp; He has been national champion serviceman in IDPA, the International Defensive Pistol Association, a couple of times.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He\u2019s also one of my highest achieving graduates, having gone through all four levels of my training, and has put his son Daniel through three of those.&nbsp; David is a regular volunteer staff instructor at our classes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He also sells gun accessories and writes a blog.&nbsp; Dave was kind enough to share his experience there, after helping teach that third-level MAG-120 class.&nbsp; The numbers come from the accumulated hours, in this case the culmination of three 40-hour classes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I was kinda proud of it.
