I\u2019ve just completed my review copy of his new book, \u201cIn Defense of the Second Amendment,\u201d and I have to say it\u2019s outstanding. Larry uses nuclear grade Common Sense to destroy the arguments of the prohibitionists. The book finishes with many pages of citations from authoritative sources which support his points.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I wish every legislator in every state, and every Representative and Senator in the Capitol would read it. Correia\u2019s gift as a writer is that it sounds as if someone credible is talking to you one on one, and giving you irrefutable facts, which in this case are backed up by page after page of citations. Plain talk and irrefutable, documentable truths delivered in a clear style that may be too frank for snowflakes, but understandable to anyone with an IQ above room temperature who hasn\u2019t been brainwashed by identity politics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
This is the kind of book I\u2019d like to see in the hands of everyone who hasn\u2019t already locked themselves into an ideology on one side or the other of this polarized social issue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
And, for those of us who\u2019ve already looked at both sides and taken the pro-gun side, well\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Larry admits that if we <\/em>read it, he\u2019s singing to the choir.<\/p>\n\n\n\n But as a member of that choir, I for one think he\u2019s singing the Song of Our People, and I really like the way he carries the tune.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" I\u2019m proud to say Larry Correia is a friend of mine.
