He\u2019s also a 2A warrior and a board member of the Citizens Committee for the Right to Keep and Bear Arms (CCRKBA).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Immediately after this year\u2019s Gun Rights Policy Conference, <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/armedamericanradio.org\/2023\/09\/25\/09-24-2023-hr-1-alan-gottlieb-updates-from-gun-rights-policy-conference-and-massad-ayoob\/\" target=\"_blank\">Mark interviewed<\/a> two of us who spoke there.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For the first half hour of the show, you\u2019ll hear Alan Gottlieb, founder of both <a href=\"https:\/\/ccrkba.org\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">CCRKBA<\/a> and the <a href=\"https:\/\/saf.org\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Second Amendment Foundation<\/a>, talk about the advances of the past year since the United States Supreme Court\u2019s&nbsp;<em><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.supremecourt.gov\/opinions\/21pdf\/20-843_7j80.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">Bruen<\/a>&nbsp;<\/em>decision. In those thirty minutes, he expertly synopsized where legislation and especially litigation is going in this arena.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the next half hour, Mark and I discussed just how deeply New Mexico Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham stepped in it last month when she <a href=\"https:\/\/www.krqe.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/12\/2023\/09\/090823-PHO-guns-and-drug-abuse.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">declared by executive fiat<\/a> that for thirty days open and concealed carry would be illegal in Albuquerque. Her wrist was slapped by the Albuquerque Chief of Police, the Bernalillo County Sheriff (a Democrat), her own state\u2019s Democrat Attorney General, and finally by a judge.
