I made that point recently at the 2024 Gun Rights Policy Conference in San Diego last month. But, I respectfully submit again, we should supplement with the emotional argument.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For every time the Other Side puts up a death and a grieving loved one, we can show \u2013 and probably outnumber \u2013 not only people saved by guns, but generations of people who wouldn\u2019t be alive today if their ancestors hadn\u2019t had guns with which to save <em>their<\/em> lives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Whenever I postulate this, someone comments, \u201cNever mind that! The Second Amendment is all we need!\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sadly, no, it apparently isn\u2019t.
